Enneagram

I am trained to guide individuals through the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a model of nine personality styles used for personal development. Each style represents a core motivation that has a significant impact on what you see, think, feel and do at work and more broadly in life. As a mirror, the Enneagram can help you understand why you behave as you do, and as a map, it can guide you towards personal growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you coach?

My coaching style combines structure and authenticity. With my goal oriented approach, I support you to design your unique way of addressing your challenges. As a coach it is not my job to offer you tips and advice. Instead, I facilitate a process to help you set goals, identify what gets in your way and develop strategies and action plans to create change. I serve as a thinking partner by asking you questions, creating awareness and exploring different perspectives and options. This way, together, we uncover answers and solutions already present within you.

What is the difference between working with a psychologist and a coach?

Even though it might look or feel similar, coaching differs from psychological counseling or any kind of therapy in that coaching does not treat illness or pathology. A coach is not an expert on solutions or treatment, but a coach partners with the client to uncover answers and solutions already present within themselves.

What happens during a chemistry session?

In a chemistry session we will have the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what topic you would like to work on and assess whether coaching and my style is the right approach for you. If we decide to work together, we will discuss for how many sessions and how often we meet.

What are your credentials?

I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and thereby adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics. I completed 240 hours of training in an Accredited Coach Training Programme (ACTP).

How do we meet?

Coaching sessions with me are online via Zoom or in-person in Amsterdam, and in English or Dutch.

“Sabine also helped me navigate towards a deeper understanding of what I truly need in day-to-day life to find contentment. She guided and motivated me to find my own solutions, fostering a sense of autonomy and self-confidence that has been invaluable on my personal journey of growth.”

She was professional, warm and empathetic. I felt like I could truly open up about my insecurities without fear of judgment. She helped guide me to overcome these insecurities and left me with techniques I can use if I come across these obstacles again.”

“Sabine is a visual thinker. This quality in combination with her exceptional listening skills allowed her to identify certain (subconscious) thought and behavioural patterns I was stuck in and reframe them in a new light.”

“She’s calm, patient and knows when to step in and helps you think further than you would on your own. I’ve been able to prioritise and achieve my goals through thinking in a logical, proactive and structured way that was largely due to the coaching I received from Sabine.”

Out beyond ideas of right and wrong, there is a field. I will meet you there.
