My name is Sabine Hae-Ran van Ameijden and I am Dutch-Korean, I was born in Paris, grew up in The Netherlands and lived most of my adult life in different places (South Korea, UK, US, Mozambique). I am currently based in Amsterdam.

My professional and study background is in International Relations (NGO, thinktank, government, social startup). Since 2018 I am a certified Yin Yoga teacher and I completed a 14-month International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coaching training in 2021.

ASH is an acronym for Atelier Sabine Hae-Ran and a reference to the metaphor “Like a phoenix rising from its ashes”. Looking back on my own personal journey, I feel as if I have risen from my own ashes. I have hugely benefited from both yoga (connecting the head with the body and heart) and coaching (listening to myself instead of conforming to others). Since 2016 these two modalities have supported a big transformation in my personal and professional life. The stuff I have been working through myself - stress, burnout, depression, anxiety - allows me to now work with others from lived experience and with compassion. I can relate to how challenging it is to change patterns, behaviour and beliefs and to the resistance you often need to move through to create personal growth.

With ASH You Are, I would like to invite you to show up as you are. To let go of ideas of what you should be and conforming to the expectations of others. Whether it is through a coaching conversation or yoga practice, I am here to hold the space for you to uncover and build your authenticity.
